    • Listed in the Muster Roll of the Volunteer Left Flank Company Commanded by Capt. Horace Pinhey, 2nd Carleton Militia, Township of March, 4th June, 1841: Pat Killun, age 20.
    • A.H.D. Ross (Ottawa Past and Present, 1927) records that Patrick Killeen was the first person of European ancestry to be born in March Township. 1851 census also lists March as birthplace. However, in the 1861 census, and in his death record of 1890, his birthplace is listed as Ireland.
    • Cannot find in 1871 and 1881 census returns.
