  Notes	Died intestate (without a will). His property passed to his widow, Mary Leavy. On 28 January 1857, Alexander Moran gave his father James Moran one hundred pounds in exchange for the "one hundred acres, more or less" situated in the north east and south east quarters of Lot 11, Concession 1, Huntley township. Sale was registered "at 12 O'clock Noon of Thursday, the 26th day of March A.D. 1857" (Book D, Memorial 10808).
